Jessica Sinopoli HeadshotThroughout her journey at SUNY Oneonta, Jessica Sinopoli dedicated her time to many worthy causes and focused on using her skillset to better the institution she loved so much. Her freshman year of college she became a senator for the Student Association and was appointed to a variety of different internal and external committees to ensure that student voices were being heard. She went on to integrate herself in many different departments at SUNY Oneonta including the Office of Admissions as a Tour Guide, New Student Services as an Orientation Leader and Residential Community Life as the Vice President of Finance- and later President- of Oneonta’s National Residence Hall Honorary. Pursuing a degree in Business Economics at the time, she also found herself drawn to programs and opportunities within Oneonta’s School of Economics & Business, particularly, the Backpacks to Briefcases program. The B2B is a wonderful networking program she had the privilege of participating in during every year of her college career, one as a Student Liaison and another as the Chief Student Coordinator. Additionally, within the School of Economics & Business she was a Macroeconomics Teaching Assistant, a Fed Challenge Participant, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Event Coordinator for Management Club. One of the most amazing opportunities she experienced was working with the Office of Alumni Engagement as an OFAN member and later being appointed the Student Representative for the Alumni Association Board of Directors where she could use her perspective to better the relationship between students and our alumni network.
