7:00 a.m. - Golf Tournament
Join SUNY Oneonta alumni and friends at the Oneonta Country Club for a day of captain and crew golf. The day begins at 7 a.m. with a breakfast buffet in the clubhouse. We will kick off the tournament with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. If you do not have a team, we will match you with other players. Prizes will be awarded at the luncheon. Registration is required. $100. Lunch and $5 voucher to the Pro Shop are included for tournament participants. Guests can join them for the luncheon by registering separately.
10:00 a.m. - Otsego Lake Tour - Session 1
Spend the morning in Cooperstown discovering the secrets of Otsego Lake aboard the research vessel Anodontoides, where you will learn about advances in lake science that are changing the way we live, work, and play. If you are spending the day in Cooperstown, we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Please register for this event to help us accommodate all participants.
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - A.J. Read Science Discovery Center Self-Guided Tour
Check out the A.J. Read Science Discovery Center — SUNY Oneonta’s very own hands-on science center! Explore live weather data and other planets on the OmniGlobe projection system; flood Manhattan with our newest water-table exhibit; and build your own robot at the modular robotics station. Interns will be on-site to guide you on your journey of exploration. The center also features comfortable couches, providing a place to rest during your fun-filled weekend.
11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Tennis Tournament
Bring your racquet; we will supply balls and prizes! For more information, contact Bill Bogatz ’74 at econ@optonline.net. Please register for this event to help us accommodate all participants.
Noon - 2:00 p.m. - Thayer Farm Tour
Join us for a tour of the Hop House, Upland Interpretive Center, and other Thayer Farm buildings. If you are spending the day in Cooperstown, we encourage you to bring a bag lunch. Registration is required.
Noon - 3:00 p.m. - Paddlefest
Join Paddlefest and experience Hunt Union from a new perspective. Paddle around the pond with Chris Shughrue, director of outdoor programs, as your guide. This event is fun for everyone, regardless of paddling skillset. Equipment will be provided; the only thing you need to bring is a taste for adventure. The event will include a box lunch and take place rain or shine, so remember your raincoat. Registration is required to ensure that everyone gets paddle time on the pond. Early bird: Child: $10. Adult: 12. After May 24: Child: $13. Adult: $15.
Noon - 4:00 p.m. - Relive and Remember the Past — Alden Room Open Hours
Furniture from Old Main, memorabilia, yearbooks, student newspapers, and other treasures will be on display and available for browsing in the Alden Room, 300 Milne Library. Enjoy the ambiance and comfortable seating as you reminisce with friends. Heather Stalter and others from the library’s Special Collections team will be available to welcome guests.
12:30 p.m. - Golf Luncheon
Capping off the golf tournament will be a luncheon for participants and their guests. Lunch is included for tournament participants; guests can join them for an additional price. Registration is required. Early bird: $25. After May 24: $30.
2:00 p.m. - Otsego Lake Tour - Session 2

Alumni of the track and field team are invited to join Bob Raymond ’74 at the Autumn Café. Greet your fellow athletes, reminisce about the glory days, and kick off your weekend.
2:30 - 3:15 p.m. - Campus Tour
Bring your walking shoes for a 45-minute guided walk around campus and see how the campus has changed yet retained its traditional beauty. The tour leaves promptly from Alumni HQ and includes a look at the newly renovated Alumni Hall. This event is on a first-come, first-served basis.
3:00 - 6:00 p.m. - SOURS @ the Fox
Relive the good old days and join us for an Oneonta tradition: SOURS @ the Fox. This event is open to all alumni. Registration is required.
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Alumni Association Annual Meeting
Alumni Association Board President Drew McKay ’05 invites you to join us for the Alumni Association Annual Meeting, which will include updates from the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the election of new board members. Results from the Alumni Attitude Study will be shared. All alumni are encouraged to attend.
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Golden Anniversary Reception
Members of the Half Century Club will welcome back members of the Class of 1974. Light refreshments will be served. Attendance is for members of the Half Century Club, the Class of 1974, and their invited guests only. Registration is required.
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. - Cans ‘n’ Clams
Kick off Alumni Weekend with this fan favorite meal! The all-you-can-eat dinner will transport you to the shores of New England with a menu that includes steamed and fried clams, clam chowder, various sliders, coleslaw, and desserts. The first two beer and wine beverages and all non-alcoholic beverages are included; a cash bar will be available. Registration is required. Early Bird: $40; Early Bird Guest: $40. Early Bird Child (under 12): $15 After May 24th: $45. Guest: $45. Child (under 12): $15.
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) Open House
Join Emily Olson, associate director of GSRC and program associate for the Office of Equity and Inclusion, in the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center. Ask questions, share your stories, learn about queer life at Oneonta today, and make some crafts. To learn more about GSRC, visit suny.oneonta.edu/gsrc.
8:00 - 10:00 p.m. - Drag Show
Come one and all to the annual Alumni Weekend Drag Show! Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. This is an event you won’t want to miss. Registration is required, cost includes 1 drink ticket. $5.
8:00 - 10:00 p.m. - Return to the RAT
End the night with a trip down memory lane at the Rathskeller Pub for its Alumni Weekend Revival! View the beautiful brick garden on the patio while enjoying light refreshments and supporting the Alumni Weekend Drag Show. Share memories of when Hunt Union had its very own bar and reminisce about your college years. A cash bar will be available.

9:00 - 10:30 a.m. - Alumni Celebration Breakfast
Join your fellow alumni, along with faculty, staff, and friends, as we celebrate our 2024 Alumni Association Award winners and a successful year of alumni-led initiatives, partnerships, and programming. Hear how alumni volunteers have enhanced the Red Dragon experience on campus and beyond. Our Class of 1974 will be recognized as well. Registration is required. Early bird: $16. After May 24: $21.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee invites you to join us in celebrating our newest inductees, who will unveil their plaques. Past and present inductees and their invited guests only. Registration is required.
Noon - 2:00 p.m. - Red Dragon BBQ
The most talked-about meal in town comes to campus! You’ll have a choice of the famous Brooks’ menu items. Enjoy music and entertainment, too. Before heading out to other Alumni Weekend events, be sure to stop by the dessert table. A cash bar will be available. Registration is required.
Noon - 2:00 p.m. - Build a Dragon
TWhile eating and competing at the Red Dragon BBQ and Alumni games, build a Red Dragon of your very own to take home! This event is for all ages who are interested in creating their own mascot and only costs $10 for a lifetime of memories with your new friend Red. Registration is required.
Noon - 3:00 p.m. - Alumni Games
Bring your “A” game for the Alumni Games! All are invited to attend and participate. Cheer on or join the Greek teams and independent teams as everyone goes toe-to-toe in competition at the Red Dragon BBQ.
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Netzer Planned Giving Society Event
The Netzer Planned Giving Society is a group of donors dedicated to supporting the University’s future through gifts from their estate. Join us as we explore the past with Heather Stalter, reference and Special Collections librarian at Milne Library. Stalter will present unique items from the University’s treasure trove of historical objects. We encourage you to bring your own treasures to share, along with your stories. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required.

The Class of 1974 will gather to toast friendships started 50-plus years ago. Champagne and sparkling grape juice will be provided. A class photo will be taken at 3:45 p.m., so please arrive by that time to be included. Members of the celebrating class and their invited guests only. Registration is required.
4:30 - 6:00 p.m. - 1889 Society Reception
Andrea Casper ’75, chair of the 1889 Society, invites all members to join us for a special celebration featuring entertainment and hors d’oeuvres. This event is exclusively for 1889 Society members and their invited guests.
6:00 - 9:00 p.m. - All-Greek Social
We invite you to join fellow fraternity brothers and sorority sisters for the All-Greek Reunion Social. There will be music, dancing, reminiscing over memories, and making new ones! Join staff of the SUNY Oneonta Planetarium for a journey into the cosmos in our state-of-the-art digital planetarium. Enjoy sweet treats on the first floor of the Perna Science Building. Seating is limited to 28 for each session, so please register to help us accommodate all participants.
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Recent Alumni Social
Venture down to the Red Jug Pub to enjoy light snacks and a cash bar with fellow classmates and alumni from the last 25 years.

Some met in class, others in residence halls, and still others by chance after graduation. But all alumni couples have one thing in common: They met and fell in love because of shared experiences at SUNY Oneonta. Whether you are recently married or celebrating 60 years and counting, please join us as we celebrate all Red Dragons in love! Couples are invited to a Sunset Toast, which will include a champagne toast, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a chance to share your stories. Registration is required.
